cooking for life
So you made a delicious meal...ate it...and enjoyed it. And you made it again the next day...and the next...and the next. After a while, you realize that you want more than this one dish can offer. After all 'man (or woman) cannot survive on bread alone'...
You need to learn to make a variety of different dishes because:
- You can get sick of eating the same thing again and again
- Maybe the guests that you invited over for dinner are allergic to the main ingredient in your dish
- or the ingredient you have always used has suddenly become too expensive to afford, is out of season, or the crop has been wiped out by sudden storms
So just like you cannot rest on your laurels after making one dish well..
- You cannot assume that just because you got the job, your career journey is complete. After all, most of us will end up having multiple careers throughout our adult lives and you can never tell when the next change will be coming.
